Rich Song has been involved with film work
for the better part of his life. He started as
a teenager shooting and editing a series of
skateboarding videos with his friends. He later went on to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, where he received numerous accolades for his student work. His thesis film “The Glass Ceiling” was nominated for a Wasserman Award in The First Run Film Festival.

Upon graduation, Rich has continued to develop his talents as writer, director and editor. He’s been fortunate enough to work in a variety of genres. His projects include short films like “Ready or Not” (third place, Asian Cinevision’s 64 Hour Film Shootout) and “Kingdom Come”; music videos with artists like Big Daddy Kane and DJ Kai; television programs (at ImaginAsian TV); trailers, promos, pilots, talk shows, and event videos. 

Rich is currently completing his screenplay titled “We the People” and exploring teaching opportunities in the New York City area.
